Budget Allowance For Hobbies

It is safe to say that most people spend their money wisely or at least take care of their financial responsibilities before purchasing a service or a product to support their hobby or interest. Do you have your hobbies and interests on a budget or do you spend whatever is necessary to maintain your hobby?

Hobbies for your income level:

Low income: a person's hobby will include those interests which can be done for free or inexpensively. A few examples would include reading, writing, walking, running, and hiking, watching television, listening or playing music, listening to the radio, and fishing. Middle income: Pursuing hobbies which may possibly be monetized for a career choice.

There will be a small investment which is manageable. Examples of these hobbies are dancing, golfing and other sports, hunting, camping, gambling, billiards, collectibles, miniatures, arts and crafts, movies and theater performances, and gardening.

Upper-middle income - These hobbies will require monies for supplies, class instruction, and include support activities, such as club memberships, inventory, equipment, and training manuals. Examples of these hobbies include photography, videographer, scuba diving, traveling, boating, gourmet cooking, fine art painting, and making fine jewelry from gems, gold, and platinum.

Upper income - Free to pursue anything you wish, but continue to be aware of monies spent and maintenance costs. It is wise to be on a budget at any level of income.
