Rendering them happy is no big deal because the happiness of these pure hearted angels lies in tiniest of things with birthday being on the top of the list. They want their birthday to be earmarked and a party in which they can revel to the fullest.

To your surprise, a birthday party can also be a good teaching to them. But how? Simply involve them in all tasks. Let them be the boss of their day. You can make it exciting by engaging them in decorations. Decorations are easy than other chores and something they will definitely enjoy doing. You can make the day more than just balloons and cakes.

1. Choose a party theme: It can be their favorite cartoon character, movie or even a comic theme. Ask them what they want it to be and they will come up with their own ideas. Appreciate them and they will help themselves in decorating the premises. You can even invite their friends for making it more fun. This will teach them to work in groups. For if, your child wants a Cinderella theme then you can let them draw and paint clouds, crowns and a fort.

2. Keep surprises: The best way to motivate children is to surprise them. They will not only be helpful but motivated to give their best. The surprises can be chocolates, comics or even toys. Just be fair while choosing the gift as they might get insecure of others.

3. Play games: It is certainly difficult for kids to sit in one place for hours. Distract them by playing games and with refreshments. Ask them if they are enjoying it and which games they want to play on the day. You can also suggest some games related to the theme which will excite them more.
